Pete (and Jan) was our next door neighbour in Whiteshill for almost 30 years.
He was welcoming from the beginning, friendly and supportive allowing us to settle into the community and village life very quickly. He was also a good "guard dog" to have around when we were away on holidays !
Pete and I shared many stories about our respective families, especially Pete's and my dad's friendly rivalry relating to the success of their beloved gardens.

Pete, you were a good bloke to have known; Claire and I will miss you.
